The young Slovak forward has earned his spot in the KHL thanks to his excellent performance.

Slovan signed a two-way contract with Patrik Lamper until the end of the current season. This means that Lamper will be able to play for the HC’05 Banská Bystrica as well, where he's been playing for a few season now. He will join Slovan in a game against Barys Astana on Monday.

The 24-year-old player has been playing for his hometown Banská Bystrica since he was a kid, playing for teams of all age categories. His good performance didn't go unnoticed, and he got scouted by Slovakia national team coaches, making it to the U20 IIHF World Championship in 2011-2012.

Lamper's been a solid contributor of the HC’05 Banská Bystrica senior team for the past 4 seasons. The club won the league title last season. In the current season, he has scored 11 points in 29 games.

Patrik's efficiency didn't go unnoticed by the general manager of the Slovak national team Miroslav Šatan and the national team's head coach Craig Ramsey. Lamper got nominated for the German Cup where he scored for the first time in a jersey of Slovakia's senior national team. Lamper is part f the current nomination for a tournament in Norway.

HC SLOVAN Bratislava would like to welcome Patrik Lamper on board and we wish him the best of luck.
