PAVOL RYBÁR WILL TAKE CARE OF THE WORK WITH VIDEO ANALYSIS OF MATCHES, BUT HE WILL ALSO HELP WITH THE GOALKEEPERS.
Pavol Rybár signed a contract with HC SLOVAN Bratislava for the upcoming season 2021/22. The former goalkeeper legend of the club returns to the team after two seasons spent in the Czech highest competition, Dynamo Pardubice and Kometa Brno.
He last worked at HC SLOVAN in the coaching staff of Vladimír Országh in the KHL 2018/19 year, before that with coaches Rostislav Čada and Petr Matikainen in the years 2012 - 2015.
"Nowadays, it is necessary to have a video coach in the team, who provides the coaching team and manager with all the video material of his own team as well as the opponent, and especially in real time. At the same time, as a former great goalkeeper and later a coach, with which many of our club's successes are connected, will also help our goalkeeping coach Peter Škrabelj, "said HC SLOVAN general manager Maroš Krajči about the arrival of Pavel Rybár.
Today, the 49 - year - old former excellent goalkeeper spent most of his rich club career in the HC SLOVAN Bratislava jersey. In HC SLOVAN he played eight seasons. He has three championship titles with our club (2001, 2002, 2005). He tried his hand at foreign engagement in Gomel, Belarus, and as part of the Russian Superliga in the distant Amur Khabarovsk.
Pavol Rybár was also a member of the senior national team of Slovakia, he presented himself at five world championships and two Olympic Games.
He started his coaching career as a goalkeeping coach in 2012 in Slovan. He first spent three seasons with the Slovan in the KHL, later returning in 2018/19 alongside Vladimír Országh. In addition, he was able to achieve the title of Slovak champion twice with the Banská Bystrica team. He experienced the other two years as the only Slovak coach of goalkeepers in Czech Republic, in the teams of Dynamo Pardubice and Kometa Brno.
