The First big chance came in the 5th minute when the DVTK Forward Staphen Anderson could have scored form a very close distance. However, the same player scored 7 minutes later through a very impresive counterattack. Slovan made a run for the goal 19 minutes into the game. Milan Kytnár got away but was stopped when the opposing player triped him. However, Brendan O'Donnell did not score on the ordered penalty shootout.
In the next course, both teams created chances. With 33 minutes played, the home side managed to get puck beheind the net of Parks but the goal did not stand because the net has been moved prior the goal. Then Kundrik missed when he went on a breakaway. The last goal came in the 52nd minute when Szilárd Rokály scored and secured a win for his side.
