School trip to Slovan

HC SLOVAN Bratislava is involved in some notable community projects. Škola ide na Slovan (School Trip to Slovan) is one such initiative.


HC SLOVAN will invite a group of about 50 school children to each home game in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). But the children will have to actively earn their invitation by improving their classroom or school surroundings!

Slovan will take the most active children to the game in the same bus as used by the A team. This will be an experience in itself – to sit in the very seats reserved for Šatan, Bartovič, Kukumberg, Bližňák, Hudáček & co. The team bus will pick the children up outside their school, and take them back to school after the game. They will watch the game from the reserved A12 sector, right beside the rink. They’ll also receive some small souvenirs from the club and, just before the match, go on a tour of parts of the Slovnaft Arena, learning all sorts of things about the history of the most successful club in Slovakia.
